Column Forms: Heavy Civil Elliptical
Elliptical shapes are esthetically pleasing but pose interesting fabrication challenges.
A true elliptical shape consists of a constantly changing curve. The solution is
to approximate the desired shape by using two radii, one for each axis. Using this
approach, virtually any elliptical shape can be achieved.
